Senior Zachary Chavez is a very talented and dedicated student. He is known for being a musical soul, with his involvement in the school jazz band, wind ensemble, choir and the schools drama program.
Music has been a way of expression to Chavez. He has made quite a name for himself within the music programs of this school district. He has gone through many auditions to prove that he has the talent to succeed. Chavez has made it into honor events such as All-City Band, Adam State Honor Choir, and All-State Choir. He is also the drum major of Centennial's marching band. He has reached some of the biggest achievements that high school musicians aspire to accomplish.
Upon graduating, Chavez is set on attending Colorado State University-Pueblo where he wishes to continue and expand his musical knowledge and get a degree in Music Education. In his interview, he mentioned that he believes he has the correct skills to teach music and hopefully can impact his future students with music the way it has impacted him.
Senior year has been a wild ride for Zachary Chavez but he is ready for what his future has in store for him.
