Centennial had 41 participating students who competed at the Colorado FBLA State Conferences which were held in Denver, Colorado April 2 through April 4, 2026.
Centennial had an incredible weekend at the conference as many accomplishments were made. One of them was a junior, Dhruv Nallegowda, being inducted as the new President of District 7, becoming the first State Officer Centennial has had since 2022.
As a state officer, Nallegowda will dedicate the next year to lead and mentor his chapter through the following 2026-27 FBLA season.
Another impressive Centennial student, James Brady, placed third in the cybersecurity event making him an official National qualifier. The next time he competes, he will be representing Centennial in San Antonio, Texas for Nationals.
Although there were no other national qualifiers, Centennial has three national alternates including Nallegowda, Jack Centner, and Alexander Williams. This means if a qualifier in their event opts out of competing in Texas this summer, they will have an opportunity to compete in their place.
Nallegowda placed 10th in Data Sciences and AI, Centner placed 10th in Sports and Entertainment Management, and Williams placed 9th in Public Administration and Management.
In total, it was a very successful weekend as 7 out of 41 Bulldogs finished outside of the top 20 in the state.
