Centennial Journalists hosting Valentine’s photoshoots

With Valentine’s Day coming up soon, the students of Centennial’s journalism elective are excited to announce their upcoming Valentine’s Day inspired photoshoots. Each student is offered three photos, free of charge, in front of a festive backdrop.

The photos will be inspired by a trend involving a DIY backdrop made of painted on newspapers so the photoshoot will have a fun, upbeat, and cute theme.

This idea was developed as the students are preparing to learn and practice photojournalism. Among other photography skills, the students are practicing portrait shots which will guide them while taking the perfect photos for their peers.

Students are encouraged to visit Ms. Amaya’s room, 2609, or talk to journalists at a respectful time to show their interest for the photoshoot. The photoshoot will take place after school on February 9th and 10th in room 2609.
